Dr. (Col) Balvir Kalra is a cardiologist in Gurugram with more than 45 years of medical experience. He served 22 years in the Indian Army as a cardiologist — responsible for the cardiac health of Army personnel, senior leadership, Generals, Brigadiers, and the President of India. He retired at the rank of Colonel, one of the most decorated and trusted cardiologists in the Indian military medical establishment.

After retiring from the Army, he served as Senior Consultant Cardiology at MP Heart Institute, Greater Kailash (1998–2005); Chief Medical Officer at Aviva Life Insurance (2002–2017); Visiting Consultant at Apollo Hospitals (2001–2008); and Senior Consultant Cardiology at Apollo Clinic, Gurgaon — before joining Artemis Hospital, Gurugram, where he now serves as Associate Chief – Cardiology (NIC).
